Everyone dreams, as this is a function of the brain, not the eyes. It occurs during what is called Rapid Eye Movement, or REM, sleep, & is essential to restful sleep. However, whether or not a blind person can "see" images when they dream may depend upon the individual. I don't doubt that someone who has been blinded during their life would dream images. I used to be highly nearsighted, but in my dreams, I didn't necessarily see things in a blurry fashion if I wasn't wearing my glasses in the dream. Sometimes, I did, but not always. However, if someone has been blind since birth, & has never seen anything, I wonder if those people would "see" images in their dreams. If so, it would be interesting to see how their mind would interpret the nonvisual stimuli around them & convert it to "images" for their dreams. I'm sure many things would be inaccurate, as these people would have no concept of colors, as these are essentially totally visual experiences.

I think yes, they do dream,
If they were born with eyesight they might even dream with vision. If not then maybe they dream as when they are awake, without vision but with sound etc.
I suppose unless you are blind or have actually asked a blind person you will never know :)

If they were blind from birth, they may be able to see, but obviously, they will not know what they are seeing. However, if they became blind after a certain time period of being able to see, they can see their dreams.

Pretty stupid question, but not the dumbest. I think the dumbest question is the one not asked.
