How does a person hold-off pre-marital sex in a relationship?

Being a Christian I belive sex is something do be done only with in the bounds of marraige. God has given sex to us a s a gift but a gift to be opened on your wedding night and not before.

When you are in a romantic relationship with someone---a long period of proximity and heightened chemistry invariably leads to physical contact and a need for intimacy. This is a basic human phenomina and not abnormal. How well you control your urges and the extent of your sexual contact depends on the moral judgement you impose upon self and the relevance of social stigma or permissiveness. This is a very personal decision and cannot be decided upon just because someone tells you its ok or its bad. Just one precaution----do not bring children into this world from a relationship that is not totally socially sanctioned because you are then forcing them to morally accept being born out of wedlock which might be fine for you but not very fine for them.

I have pre-marital sex, so i think its fine.
The best way to hold off from pre-marital sex is too masturbate furiously. Switch hands to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.

personally i think theres just nothing wrong with pre marital sex so far as u get what u want from it and really kno what ur out for.dont just let urself abused or misused.........then it would all turn the same before or after mariage.

If you are old enough and mature enough...sure go for it.
If you are under 18....you are a fool.
But....if you are going to have premarital sex, use protection. Forget about getting pregnant. Think of all the strange diseases you are going to get. Some where there are no cure. Some that will kill you slowly.....

It was fine for me. Not for my daughter...just kidding. I think sex before marriage is OK, but people are soooo casual about it. You know, if they aren't going to have any of the emotion and feeling involved, why not just DIY?

Depends on the couple! If you can trust your partner, then ok. But according to me, if a person cannot wait till marriage, then something fishy!!!!!
