me and her works in the same office ,she's an architect and i'm a 3d artist,we've been working for together for a year,in the last two months i started to have feelings for her, feelings that i've never had before, after a while i started to make her know what i'm feeling and then it turned out that she feels the same way which made me so glad that we share the same feeling.
we discussed the situation, and guess what, her mother is 5 years older than her father, and she told that her parents won't have a problem with this and that she have the final decission.
maybe i'm young, but I'm sure of my feelings and we talk a lot about future,we both can live a good life, the problem stays with my father,i don't even know how to tell him,mom is not a big issue because she can understand but my father is to hard to convence, some of you will think that this is a childish feelings but it's not,we both understand eachother and we have so much in common, could some one tell me what to do ?

hi - im in the same sort of situation (well... a little different) my girlfriend is 4 and a half years older than me - and i met her when i was 18. we have a fabulous relationship, and we're both really incredibly happy! it was a little odd at first but after a month or so you just dontcare about the age difference, you just like each other. im 20 now, and still together, no sign of breaking up in the near future! its all good - even if your parents dont like it at first, what they say really has nothing to do with it - if you like each other you cant help that. theyll come around in time, once they meet her and like her then it wont seem wierd for them either - i guess the only reason theyd worry was if they thought she was using you. clearly this isnt the case, and when they realise that it shouldnt be a problem any more! go for it, have a great time! besides, its not like you're getting married or anything, you're still young - jus take it one step at a time and see what happens, and if you feel wierd later then you can always stop and at least you know you gave it a good go.

First thing, make sure that she knows exactly how old you are. If she doesn't know, you will definately lose her if you start decieving her over your age. Also remember that if the two of you get caught, she's going to be labeled as a sex offender for the rest of her life. All that it takes is for one jealous friend or concerned adult to make that phone call. Also, you label her as "a beautiful angel". How well do you know her? I know that you've probably talked to her a few times, but do you REALLY know what makes her tick? It sounds like you've over idealized her because she's "different" from girls your own age. Don't be surprised if you fall out of love with her once you really get to know her. You also want to be careful. Is she looking for a serious relationship? I know, I know, you say that you want a serious relationship, but at 16 you don't know what that entails. Look at your parents/grandparents. Do you see yourself having a real relationship with pain, love, life, & everything with this woman? Real relationships hurt even when they are going great & take a lot of work. Don't limit yourself at such a young age. I promise that those girls that don't appeal to you now will start looking mighty fine when they get out into the real world. Also, her friends may look down on her for dating a teenager, so be prepared for that. If you are both mature & reasonable adults that are looking for more than a good time, then proceed at caution. Just make sure that 1) you tell her your real age & 2) you introduce her to your parents. Your parents are going to be the ones that blow the whistle on you if they don't approve of her.

age doesn't matter... 5 years.. hmm.. not bad.. lol... I'm 9 years older than my hubby and we have a lot things in common.. we share on the same boat...
if you truly love someone, you'll fight for what you believe is right, it doesn't matter if the world told you it's wrong, because if you really love each other, you don't need the world, you just need each other...

there is nothing wrong with a 5 year gap. That helps when one partner has slightly more maturity and life experience. Tell your dad that you truly love her and he will come around
