hi, i just got a job and i was been scheduled to perform drug test after. i am having cough and flu during the test, and i was taking cough syrup for my sickness that time(Tussing cough DM expectorant) i just want to know what substabce of drugs thy been looking for?

A Random Employment Urine Drug Test can pose a significant problem when it comes to using a temporary or permanent type of detoxification product. This is simply because you just will never know when the test will be given to you.

Some drug tests for marijuana and cocaine. Others test for pot, coke, opiates(painpills), benzos(valium,xanax), meth, XTC, heroin, and LSD. The best way to pass a drug test when you know you're gonna fail is to take a small empty prescription bottle, let a clean person pee in it, close the locking lid, slide it in your underwear, and voila! Remember to only pour half the specimin in, in case they ask for another test right away for some reason. Put the bottle in your underwear at least an hour before the test for 98 degree accuracy. Cold medicine shouldn't show up unless it had codiene or amphetimenes in it. Bring the medicine with you and show it to the administrator beforehand.

Depends on how much the company is paying for the test. Some are far more expensive than others and check for a wider range of chemicals. They will at minimum look for THC.

They are not looking for cough medicine, so you shouldn't have to worry... right?
