What Paul refered to as "human wisdom" we call today - secular humanism. This wisdom demotes God as based on man's assumptions through the natural realm. Outside of that and there is nothing. Secular humanism is based on self and what can benefit me, now. What can I gain for myself, if I help someone it is through altruistic understanding to either gain something to me or to satisfy something in me. This wisdom sets man up as his own god. The wisdom of this world may be seen as good against the back drop of other philosophy's. However set against the Wisdom that is from God. Shows it to be dark, sinful, corrupt, and full of evil. The wisdom that is from God above - is first of all pure, holy and undefiled it speaks of life, wholeness and coming to know the truth - what truth is that ? The truth that man is God's creation and that only through God can man find himself and learn the wisdom that comes from God - this wisdom is to have Christ as your personal Savior - whom God sent into the world to save men from their sins.

Yes, god cannot be found through wisdom. God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

Brilliant clause to discourage god-given common sense from scutinizing the absurdities of the bible. Of course, only a fool would actually believe this kind of doublespeak nonsense, but religions have never had a shortage of fools, that's for sure.
The ONLY WAY you CAN find "God" is through the application of human wisdom. http://www.deism.com/
Your "question" can be filed under Bible Contradictions, too. See:
"Wisdom is
the principal thing;
therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting
get understanding."
Proverbs 4:7
"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding."
Proverbs 3:13

i've got constantly enjoyed this... this is the argument I finally end up getting on the tip of two hour debates with Christians. They finally come to the theory that i've got already concept-approximately and are available up with an answer for each thing they could say (this is why i don't believe. That grew to become into MY seek), and finally end up asserting... "you try to apply your concepts. Use your coronary heart." nicely... on account that what you call a coronary heart is honestly a function of my concepts, that finished argument is mindless. I also have a concepts. i visit apply it. actually, i admire my concepts lots that I grew to develop into agnostic so as that i might have the skill to attain this.

You can't find what doesn't exist.
Religious people always back peddle themselves into a corner - this is nothing new!
You can almost hear what happened before that 'quote':
"Hey man, the smart people will never fall for this garbage - what do we do? Nuts, we can't afford to loose the money we sucker out of the others - I know - let's come up with another threat!"
Pathetic.

I understand what you are trying to say. 'Conform or be Damned'. Sorry, dork, but your threats don't scare me. I'm not Christian and only Christians go to Hell. Hell is a Christian Afterlife. I'm a pagan. I've got my own afterlives that have nothing to do with your Middle Eastern death cult. What good comes from a Hanged God? Isn't Yahweh going to destroy the Earth, and then torture, for all eternity, most of the people on it? Death cult. Witches have more life-affirming beliefs than you do.

base your search on natural surroundings, the laws of life. The statement is wrong. its true that human cannot find wisdom basing their knowledge just through experience, because experience just comes from within-perspective.
example is like the scriptures, it meant different from your understanding

Excellent and well put! Those who debate against God's followers are only stepping stones that help reach to a Higher ground and a closer leap to God that strengthens our faith and teaches us to stay strong in spiritual warfare and thur ungodly persecutions.
Shalom
