I would have to assume that the strongest bite force would come from the bull-mastiff.
A rottweiler has 3000 lbs per square inch in it's jaws. The rotts come directly from the mastiff altho I have no idea what was bred with the mastiff to get the rott. Also ancient Romans used the mastiff to fight lions in the arena. They'd most certainly have to be pretty powerful to bring down a lion.

there is none dogs of similar sizes have the same PSI in their bite. They actually measured the PSI of 3 breeds.. the pit, the rott and the german shepherd.. they took about 3 measurements from each breed and figured the average.. the rott averaged slightly higher, but not by much. Of course its an innacurate test,, there's no way of knowing if the dog is biting with full force, or just biting enough to be effective.

What dog has the strongest bite force? A HOT DOG (teehee)

Yes, I can tell you the top three because Ive bought them before. The skin is tough. Takes a lot of bite force. But I don't think mentioning name brands would be very nice of me.

Sorry, I just woke up and it's the first thing that came to mind.

There is no answer to this question. In order to measure bite force- the animal has to bite consistently with the same force each time. When you measure a sharks or an alligators bite force- they are attempting the same thing each time- to kill whatever they are biting. You can't do this with dogs- they are not usually trying to kill something unless they have been trained that way. Speaking as someone who gets bit quite often- the smaller dogs cause more pain than the larger dogs. Most dogs are only biting to get you to stop whatever you are doing- they are not going to apply their full capabilities in any circumstance unless they have been trained. So the answers you get will be pit bull, german shepherd, doberman and rotties- none are correct- these are just the dogs with the most amount of bites.

1.pit bull has the strongest bite and they don't let go unless you lift there back legs over there head
2.bull mastif these dogs are very gentle most of the time but due to size have a bad rep as mean dogs
3.German Shepard you see them on cops all the time tearing people up
now as far as strong all dogs can be with the right exercise
1. St Barnard they are huge and able to carry the weight of a person
2. German Shepard again because they are used to find people and have to be strong enough to deal with getting hit
3. chows are very strong too the center of gravity is low and they can pull just about anything

I would say Rottweilers, Dobermans, and Pitt bulls. With Pit bulls having the strongest bite force.
