There is some complicated facts over there.
It was about 200 years ago which a new belief related to Islam but completely to the contrary was born in Saudi Arabia. The people related to these believes are called Wahhabies. Al-Qaeda is consisting of Wahhabi people who cannot tolerate anybody but themselves. They even kill Muslims not believing like them.
Their origin is Saudi Arabia and they are related to it's government and so they are spreading in the name of Islam, specially in Pakistan and now in Iraq.

There are a number of reasons. For one thing in Iraq and quite a few other Muslim countries, tribalism is still very important. There is bad blood between tribal groups, and inevitably it will spill over into violence. For another, the extremists who do the bombing and killing seem to believe that if it will drive out the Americans then killing their own people is a small price to pay...after all, moderate muslims aren't "True" muslims. The killing also stirs up resentment against the American forces there...after all, if we weren't there there wouldn't be any bombings (or so the "logic" goes). Then you have the tensions between different political groups that have their own ideas about what the future of Iraq should be. Then you have the foreign terrorists who are coming in to settle old scores or just want to destablize the current government for reasons of their own. Not to mention the groups backed by other countries such as Syria, Iran, and others.

In a few words, it is a near-anarchic mess that we've stepped in. And now we're stuck with it and the civilians there are being terrorzed by dozens of different groups.

There's actually two different major groups of muslims. The ones doing the killings are trying to both kill people of the other group and cause civil unrest that may allow them to take over the country. The people doing the actually killings are nothing more than fanatics lead on by really smart people with political agendas like Bin Laden. Unfortunately they're fanatics with large amounts of weapons and money.

They are Muslims. Islam is one of the One True Faiths. There are different factions of Islam because any One True Faith splinters into groups that demonize and persecute each other for not having the Real Truth. Sunnis and Sheas are each convinced that the other is walking a False Path and some fanatics think it's ok to murder them because of this. This happened in Christianity too.

The reason is that the extremist muslims hate moderate muslims who do not support their aim of wiping everyone else off the planet. That's why they didn't care that there were muslims killed on 9/11 and the London bombings. There has always been hatred in Iraq between different groups, but they were repressed before by Saddam Hussain, who used to routinely murder thousands of his opponents.

the old ruling party under saddam were shi'ite muslims, his supporters are trying to hold on to/get back the reins of the country, with the backing of other shi'ite majority countries around them. the dispute between shi'ite and sunni dates back to the argument about who should be leader of the faith after the death of muhammad; his uncle or his grandson. Things became ugly when the grandson was martyred in iraq, causing the violent split between the 2 factions. hope this helps, I know it's a complicated affair, and no amount of outside intervention, be it US/British troops,or UN peacekeepers will stop it, there are hundreds of years of bad blood between these people.

They are fighting for position in the country, they don't feel that the US led government is the right choice from there prospective, so if the can cause civil war and when they will control the country and it's vast oil resources, I can just imagine all the propaganda we will learn in about 50 years, O all the lies

What you see on TV are lies packaged in such a way to create the idea in your mind that some people are terrorists because they fight for what they believe in. This is never true. Anyone who would Harm anyone else of any reason is a terrorist. Jesus ask us to turn the other cheek, and to love our neighbors. He made no exceptions to this request. We need only do what he ask to succeed at what we came here to learn. To have any other idea in our minds is to fail.

let me 1st tell u that many muslim countries esp those in middle east are uneducated and they dont have jobs. the economy is so poor that most of them have nothing to feed their kids for the next mealtime. now how do u think such people can buy bombs, explosives and guns that cost millions.?

apart from that, they see that many people from the rest of the world attacking their children, brothers, mothers. they see people from other countries coming as soliders of peace and raping their wives, and daughters. now how do u think a hungry, uneducated, jobless man who is tortured in every sense, will react ? he will be more than willing to bomb himself for justice.

the problem here is such mass of people are easy traps for extremists. they can be easily misled just by showing what had been done to their family.

isnt it the RESPONSIBILTY OF G1 COUNTRIES too, just BRANDING URSELVES AS G1 countries isnt enough. its ur DUTY to help other UNDER/DEVELOPING - COUNTRIES. when will u help them, u even havent provided the Hurricane Katrina survivors with much needed help, check out ur facts.

and i am telling u that muslims all over the world are trying to make those brothers/sisters life more peaceful who are not as fortunate as us. but they are highly misguided by their clerics. we are striving our best to better our selves in all feilds. its not that we are going to let them rot in hell what the Taliban or the West has created. a great revolution begins with self, so better clean up ur neighborhood first. then u can worry about and clean up the rest of the world.

and if u want to help such countries, then just dont sit here and bomb them or find fault with their faith. we should liberate their men and women by educating them, get them jobs and help them stand on their feet and make them independant financially and emotionally. make them strong by virtues, independence and character. just being or belonging to a G1 country is not enough, the deeds and helpful tendency should also be there.

btw, u people speak so much of liberation and freeing others, then why is it that we dont see Africa as atleast developing country. is it just plain talks what u are goig to give us or will the world see some good actions from the other side too?

i dont give a damn about any imaam or mullah, they are men not God that i should be scared of, most of them are corrupted idiots who lust for power, land and money. infact i wish that all corrupted clerics of all religions and all corrupted politicians, who are misusing their responsibilites given to them, be thrown out. it also includes people who plundered the whole world in name of trade, EIC and those who say 'u r either with us or with the terrorists'. but accd to u they are right and muslims are killers. isnt it?

Grace(not Law) unto you and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why are people in America killing (murdering) their own people, both with guns and with law law tongues set on fire of hell; And notably more than any other nation according to global stats?

Perhaps it's because they believe liars such like GWB (PODUS)who says "America is a nation under law"; But the Holy Bible thrice says "ye are not under the law, but under grace", clarifying the third time: "IF led of the Spirit(of grace & truth thereof)".

Perhaps the spirit America is being led astray by is the "spirit of error" and "antichrist" (anti-"the end of the law"): 1Jn 4; Due to love of $ (in $ we law law trust) more than love of God(Grace).

NOTE: When they say Peace & Safety (in "law worketh wrath"), well, then the "no escape" sort of sudden "destruction" comes upon "them", and it's notably because of what "they say": 1Thess 5:3. God hath NOT appt'd us unto wrath(law). Selah Americah.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
