Yes, I have a tea kettle that whitles. I have never had a tea kettle that doesn't whitle when the water's not ready. And when its done it whistles really loud. You can hear it in any room in the house.

Yes--it is superloud, like a train whistle.
No chance of this kettle getting forgotten on the stove.
It's avery pretty color blue.
