I live at secound floor and the neighbour above hammer at night when i am sleeping at my roof.I have had few flats the last 10 years and each one of my neigoubours above have been a mystry to me.all of them hammer at my roof when i am sleeping and i dont know why.at the begining it affected my sleeping and i started with sleeping pills because of that.i am open for any kind of konspiracy teori you can think of.thanks

It does make one wonder why the heck these people do this at night and when they know you are sleeping, and other neighbors also...key words here...OTHER NEIGHBORS ALSO....meaning, that the conspiracy theory is out the window however,..if you could tape if for a couple of nights and either call the police and let them hear it or complain to the management...I am sure they will make them stop...my goodness how rude...Sweet dreams..

Go up to the second floor during the day and speak to the person who lives above you. If you don't fee satisfied that things will change then call your landlord or letting agency and speak to them about it! You should not have to take sleeping pills.
or... you could just start banging the roof at odd hours (like 4 am or something) I found the end of a broom worked best!

Talk the the jerks up there and ask them to stop after 10 pm. It is only normal.
