He is the son of God, the first to be created, and through whom everything else came into being. Isaiah 9:6 is often referred to as proof that he is God, but it doesn't say that, it says he is a mighty god. A mighty god is created and receives his power from an Almighty God. Jehovah is and always was an Almighty, possessing all might and power.

Today's Christians fear the use of God's name, just as the Israelites did in times of old. They were becoming so superstitious that they would replace God's name with the title LORD in cap letters. This way, if a scriptural scroll was dropped, and fell open, God's name would not be defiled by getting dirt on it.

Jesus is important, but never as important as his father. The Bible shows that he will only sit on his father's throne for 1000 years. After which it doesn't show what use he will have. Since the old world (people, not planet) are destroyed, and all records of the old ways are destroyed, there will no longer be a need for learning the Bible. Perfect human beings will learn from their parents.

In Christianity, we believe that there is only one God in essence or nature. The Bible says "God is spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." So God is a Spirit by nature. He is revealed to man in three persons the Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Each of them are fully God and equal. Each have different roles which some people see as making one less important than the other but that is incorrect teaching. God made the man to be the head of the home but that doesn't mean that the woman is less important or lower in value. Both are equal they just have different roles. The husband is to love his wife just as Christ loved his followers (the Church) and gave his life for them. The husband is to be the servant to his wife but that doesn't mean she is more important. The role a person or God is following should not determine that persons value. It is just that most people evaluate a person or God based on their role and not on the value of the person which is incorrect thinking. Just look at any country where there are very few Christians and see how women are treated (Iran, Turkey, Iraq). Men are treated like gods and women are treated poorly and thought of as very small in society.

first thing first, In Isa 9:6 it gives some of the names of Christ, JESUS IS GOD, the second member of the Godhead, in John 1 we are told that Jesus is the creator and along with The Father created this world, in Heb13:8 we are told Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, now yesterday IS the same amount of time as forever right, you see in Isa 9:6 we are given a point I will bring out, the term Father and God are used by the Godhead all three members use these terms. In Christianity, Jesus is considered the son of God and a part of the holy trinity, which means that he forms, as Son, the deity of God, together with the Father and the Spirit.
If you are referring to God as he was in the Old Testimony (actually Jewish Jehve), than, yes. Jesus Christ is considered to be the founder of Christianity and the religion should be consisted of followers of his teaching. So, basically, since it is his word that formed the religion, you could say he is more important than God (as Jehve).

God the Almighty is a spirit that covers all time and space and power and Glory and he is invisible, Now he created a kingdom of light and the heavens and the angels and placed himself on the throne as Christ Jesus, and then came into the earth realm as a man because he created us in his image as Jesus in the flesh, Now because he has done this he has risen to the right hand of his own self the invisible one, the one of pure GLORY, and put everything under the King of kings Jesus! And tells us to lift up the name in the earth and he will draw all men unto himself! That is why we preach Jesus resurrection, Because there is power in the blood of Jesus , to RECEIVE HIS SPIRIT

NO Jesus is not more or less important and He would'nt think like that because that is only for those with a prideful hearts. He is one with the Father, it is like this when you have a kid you love so much your kid is your pride and joy and even become part of you forever, unless you hate your kid. So the Father in Heaven is one with Jesus and thru Jesus is the only way to the Father so peace be with you.

When Jesus was on earth all of His prayers were towards God.
He sought God's favour. According to Isaiah 53, Jeshua would come to repair all that was breached: the Levitical priests caused breaches to God's holy altars; the Judges of Israel caused breaches; most of the Judaic kings caused breaches--so Jeshua ushered in the Melchizedek priesthood for the new covenant of Jeremiah 31:31 that Satan cannot breach. According to God's law of double-reference and according to the latest Torah Code "The Golden Fleece Found," Rebekah's changing the appearance of Isaac, the covenant seed heir, is a prophetic glimpse of a Gentile church that would change the appearance and importance of the Messianic seed. Malachi 3:6 - For I am the LORD, I change not..." God is, has been and always will be spirit. Since mighty invisible forces need witnesses of their presence, Jeshua is Holy Spirit-God's premier witness--mirror of perfection--reflector of God. Jeshua is the first-fruit of the resurrection--witnessing to us that if and when we become resurrected, we can also be mirrors of God's essence, power and Grace. God established a covenant with Abraham. God described those of the virgin wife, turned temporary concubine--who will be reconciled according to Isaiah 60 and 62, those of the maid and those by adoption--the Gentiles. Even though God says to the Jews are His oracles--the Gentile seed (who were assigned No oracle power) want to put the Supreme maker in a pagan-adopted Trinitarian concept and worse yet--add carnal, human and limited qualities to God. If God were ever human then he would be able to CHANGE AND DIE--that would mean that God lost his power to death. My question to such: Can God be born? Jeshua was born (Micah 5:2), lived (Psalm 87) and died (Psalm 22) according to over 300 prophecies. To conceal their innacuracies and conceit, they teach that they cannot err--in contradiction to Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of God's Glory."
Then again--God foresaw the extent of Satan's deception--Revelation 18.
Boaz.

It wasn't that way when I was growing up but somehow people seem to be changing the religion today in the US. Many other parts of the world Mary is becoming pre-eminent over both.

Guess it just goes to show that when you are dealing with imagination, anything can happen.

both had ordinary messages of discarding the complicated dogmas of their be certain's faith and specializing in actually being a more effective human being. both had human beings coming after them that re-complexified what they suggested. regrettably, their similarities are lost on maximum cutting-edge Christians who view their own dogma as some thing that ought to easily accept their undying loyalty, as adversarial to a reasoned set of guidelines that ought to make experience (and that i actually element to Christians because Buddhists don't have a tendency to say such issues as "there is not any similarity").
