Parents are always more experienced than their kids. So they know what is the best for their children to do, so that they can become respected citizens of the world in the times to come and take care of themselves when the parents are no more.

Children are innocent & ignorant. They do not know about the challenges lying ahead in life . Their irresponsible actions make it evident to the parents . Hence, the parents force them to concentrate on their studies.

There are however, kids who are fond of studying and spend a good amount of time in their studies. Here, the case is reversed. Parents literally force them to go out and meet friends, see movies and take part in other extra curricular activities, better to say, they ask them to take "time-off".

The only reason parents force children to study is so their children become educated. A good education is your passport to the good things in life and so that you can become self-supporting, and not be a social parasite, living off the goodwill of others.

We work hard for money. Some people go to jobs that they hate daily just for money. They look at the end result.

The same thing with studying, there is nothing wrong with the end result of studying. You pass tests, go to good colleges, and are respected by those that matter and can help you get...

Better jobs that you like, so that you can work less, and get more money!

Thus studying hard now, gets you more money and less work in the future.
