"Greek" is often used as a term for a member of a fraternity or sorority.
You may some day wish to learn the Greek alphabet.
You already know some of it. The word "alphabet" comes from the first two letters of the Greek alphabet---alpha and beta.

There once was a preacher from Kew
Who sat a smart cat in a pew,
And taught him ,each week
A new letter of Greek,
But they never got farther than MU.

It sounds like a name of a fraternity or sorority. Frats and sororities are named in Greek words. We mainly gotten our alphabet from the Greeks too.
