YES! He allowed Adam and Eve to sin, then punished all man-kind by kicking them out of Paradise. Then later, he send Jesus to absolve humans of their sins. Interesting how an infallable "god" needs to change his mind. I'm sure all the fundies will say that this was his plan all along, or that the adam and eve story is wrong, whatever. Its all made-up fantasy authored by very fallible MEN, so expectations should be much lower than they are.

I have noticed so many people have said "No". Genesis 18 speaks of God changing his mind several times when persuaded by Abraham to do so. Exodus 31:14 refers to Moses persuading God not to destroy the Jews that had fled Egypt. There are more references where God has changed his mind.

No....but he does have a perfect will and a permissive will.... sometimes he allows things he does not really want because we have prayed for them....so it may seem like he changed his mind....but he hasn't....
ex: a student prays to go to a certain college..but God wants them to do something else.... God says yes to the prayer because the student is really insistent about this one college...God knows the student will be unhappy but will not be convinced of this until they go there.. finally the student goes and is not happy....he prays again and finally discovers God's perfect will for him in another location. In this case, God has not changed his mind.... he is waiting for the student to find out his perect will....

That is like asking does God make a mistake?
If you think God has human qualities then I guess you would think that, if you think God doesn't have human qualities then of course God never changes his mind.

God created minds, He doesn't necessarily have one, because He is not His own creation. But I understand what you mean.
God never changes His nature, He is always right and knows best. However, He does change the rules and regulations of organized religion from one religious dispensation to the next. As for the Golden Rule, this never changes.

Consider will you that he opposed the Jews having a King. He said that man cannot rule himself. At the time, matters of importance was settled by the Holy Class of the Levis (and not, not the pants maker). They were not placed on a level above everyone, as they still had to provide for themselves and didn't get paid for their service. Unfortunately, Israel persisted in wanting a human King, so yes, God changed his mind and allowed them, knowing that they had to learn the hard way.

God is not a person, how can perfect love and harmony change? Don't interperate the spiritual world with physical questions and ideas. Thats like blaming God for someones death.....

I think if you read the story in Genesis of Abraham arguing with God about God wanting to kill an entire town, Abraham bargains with God to change His (God's mind).
