if people though Jesus had a big manhood... Although i thought the question was pathetic, it never occured to me to go out and start a riot and burn a load of cars and shops, haven't the Muslims got a sense of humor?

The cartoon I saw showed M with turban that looked like a bomb and a lit fuse. It was in poor taste and I don't think it should have been published, but the reaction it got from Muslims as way out of line.

I know Jesus would not approve, I don't think M would have either. I think a good religion has been taken over by evil people.

What a silly question, the cartoons were not drawn for humour's sake. If people had more respect and actually knew something about another faith then maybe they could come up with better questions.

OK, heard of this?

Exodus 20:4-6 records the Second Commandment. Here is God’s explicit directive: “YOU SHALL NOT MAKE UNTO YOU ANY GRAVEN IMAGE, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.”

God specifically defined the forbidden ways that were used to worship idols. He realized human nature’s tendency to justify loopholes around His instructions

Initially there were pictures and paintings of muhammed-pbuh but when Allah ordered muhammed-pbuh, since then paintings, idols and any image is forbidden in Islam. actually when an artist tries capturing the human or any life form in art, and presents it for the whole world to see, then we appreciate the image, rather than the true beauty of God the painting or sculpture was inspired from.

and what faith do u follow? do u know the 10 commandments? is it not wrong to worship a false image when u consider him God.? christians agree that the image of Jesus-pbuh was an interpretation of an artist, but yet again beleive that it was how jesus-pbuh looked like. in a way u are doing a big injustice to jesus-pbuh. when u consider him to be SON OF GOD, then be respectful.

let me make one thing very clear to u. love for God does or his prophets does not come from the images, crosses and tasbis in our hands and necks. the love for God should be sealed forever in ur heart. thats important and thats what counts.

I see what you mean, in the UK we had protests from Muslims stating 'UK will pay' because of the cartoons, however it wasn't even a Brit who drew them as i think they were from Denmark.
