If she likes memories, try to get her something from the time of her childhood to bring back those happy times.

Buy her some nice lotion, like Mary Kay Dreams Spa Lotion. Lots of old people have problems with dry skin and they want to smell nice, too! Smells yummy--floral with a hint of musk. Or you can get the whole set, shower gel, perfume spray, etc. Happy B-day nanna!!

Thats great your nanna will be 72. Why don't you give him a suit, may be a coat pant. That will add grace to ur nanna ji's personality.

Make her something yourself. At 72 there isn't much she needs.Decorate a nice picture frame, and put a nice picture of the two of you in it.Then take her to lunch, just the two of you. She'll cherish the gift of your time and a memory of the two of you together more than anything you could buy for her.

Grannies like tights, pyjamas, smellies, plants and flowers. By the age of 72 they usually have nearly everything already!

A picture of yourself in a nice frame. Can you name me a "nanna" that would not appreciate that? Grandparents love pictures of their grandchildren to show off to their friends!

I use to buy my Gram things she liked even though she would say don't get her anything she had tons of perfume and knick knacks. The last time I was with her we went to lunch and then shopping. She told me spending time with her and talking with her was the best gift she had ever gotten. Try making it a tradition every year.

Take her out for the day. Treat her to a nice lunch. Buy her something that she wants and being with her for the day, is the biggest present that anyone can give.

A really beautiful photo frame so she can put a picture of you or any or all of her grandchildren in it. Think of what things she seems to like before you choose it. If she seems to like brass things, then go for a brass one. If wood, then wood. If she likes things that sparkle and catch the light, then go for glass or crystal. Only go for silver if you can afford solid silver - silver plate is a bit tacky, I think.
