Sorry but there is no such thing as no religion, religion means belief, and even no belief is a belief isn't it, and thats a lie. Of all the knowledge a human can know, the greatest part the 90% plus mankind has no idea of, can God live there, so God is there, now design, if you took raw material say to a rocket, and put it into a container can you by shakeing it, or even getting lightning to strike it make a rocket or would you must design it, so God made you, and the ten commandments are the base for all governments that have A government that you would want to live in and be save and if the ten commandments are real so is the rest of it. by the way you can get free on line bible lessons at www.itiswritten.com why not visit A Seventh Day Adventist Church in your area, talk to me as well wgr88@yahoo.com God bless you

religion seems to be the cause of most of the tension that's going on in the world today so i am not for any organized religion.i guess the people who need religion as a guidance would go crazy but most of us who know how to treat people will continue to treat others as we want to be treated.really Gods laws are so simple, man makes life more difficult with the need to be right and the need for power.giving as you do is good .that is charity.when someone in our family comes into some extra money we try to give some to each other or to the one who is most in need in the family at the time. that is our way of paying tithes,we pay it to each other feeling that serving each other is better than giving to a church that we are not comfortable with.

Without faith in God and His promises, there is only a pointless, fruitless existence. Without meaning, without effect, without anything. The only response to THAT belief is to be a practising hedonist. And that, on a humanity-wide scale, would result in complete anarchy, from which would flow chaos and ultimately destruction.
We are not born with a conscience. Kids are horridly amoral, selfish, hedonistic little brats. It takes the dedicated labor of many people over a couple of decades to turn each of them into the sort of semi-civilized human being you can turn your back on without wearing kevlar.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if we didn't have religion, we 'd have to learn to be responsible for our own deeds, good and bad. Maybe we would learn to deal with our conscience instead of falling on the excuses of fate, the devil made me do it, I'll get pardoned at church. I'm an atheist and do not fear punishmnent from some invisible god. I have to answer to my myself and my mother raised us to know what was right and wrong.
Wityhout organized religions, we wouln't have the mass murders in the name of someone's god taking place thru-out history.

it will be a hell here.
Ediots like me will come up with my vision of GOD or something like that.
Now at least there is fear to do bad. Because of the GOD.
Even the uneducated tribal people in some parts of the world respect the Allah and Jesus. They fear the book and its content. They fear the GOD will punish them. This will keep the world little safe.
Education and protect the resourses are equal tasks for us.

There are immense amount of philosophies out there. I personally don't believe in a religion, but I do give my time to food banks and other charitable organizations because I believe everyone deserves a helping hand.

Religion caused people to focus negatively on bad things because people make that choice and wouldn't have it nay other way.Religion brings forth stability, unity and more importantly love to those who look to it positively and conform it on a daily basis.

Without a belief in a higher power, then I don't think any of us would exist now. Mankind would have exterminated himself long ago.

Your question suggests that bad things are good. Is that what you meant? I think this is a faulty question, and therefore it will draw inadequate answers.
