I "threw" my wife a surprise wedding.

I married for the first time at the age of 49. My wife had been married twice before. At first she told me that she did not want to "marry" me in the legal sense. She told me that she had failed with her first two marriages and she did not want to jinx our relationship. This was fine with me in the sense that I didn't need a "legal" ceremony in order to feel married. My wife and I had fallen in love literally at first sight and I had felt married from that moment.

Later, she decided that she would like to exchange rings. With no one else present, we performed an ancient wedding ceremony called hand fastening (or hand fasting) that has no legal relevance in this country. After time passed, she decided that she would like to make it legal for various social and legal reasons. I asked her if she wanted to have a ceremony. She has some health problems and told me that she did not have the energy to plan out and have a wedding. She wanted to just go and fill out the required legal forms.

She left on a business trip and while she was gone, I enlisted two of her best friends, her mother and her sister to help me plan a surprise wedding. The ladies took over planning and running the whole show. I got friends from all over the US to fly in for the wedding. She returned from the business trip. With more help, we got her to a friends house where everything was set up. She walked into her surprise wedding without any inkling of what was going on.

After she recovered from the shock, we redid our hand fastening ceremony and repeated our vows in front of our family and friends. I made her a very surprised but happy person that day.

I am told that this was a very romantic thing to do. I hope so. Her happiness means a lot ot me.

well, this isnt that romantic, last year this girl which i had loved all my life was being harrassed by some kids older than her, there was about 5 of them and they were known as the hards kids. i, believing i was superman, tried to stop them, i got three teeth knocked out, a broken arm and a bleeding nose. lucky for me though the next week was valentines day, i got her some roses and asked her out for a date and she said yes. it was worth it... well sorta.

I'm a girl too...but my ex did something which was really sweet. On the day of our confession he actually knelt and took my hand, asked me to be his girlfriend. It was very touching because he didn't hold my hand till i said yes. In that case, i felt he respected me most.

we went climbing rocks near a lighthouse by the ocean,
we sat and i held her hand
and told her her eyes held the mystery of the world,
she is aphrodite rising from the waves

the most romantis think , that i wrote a romantic poem to her..

love is ...

love is ...
that a hiding feelings ,which you can`t explain it by words..
which go around and every where , in this world..
looking about its waiting chance, to enjoy the feelings...
and you charm the eyes and the hearts...
quietness sneak into , and to settle down in the mind and the heart ,against of you ...
inside of the heart , to own the heart and the passion..
to control on you...
the love is that feelings which can own the person from inside...
and to take him around the world as it wish ,
with its happiness or its sadness...
wander him any where even on the seas,
and to walk on the seas without diving into deeply inside...

the love....
is that tasty epidemic , which infect all people without exception..
has its magnetic , which attract all together....
and without love , life never to continue in any planet...
love has many great meanings and definitions,
differ from one to another lover..
every lover has his private imagination and definition to the meaning of love...
and has his way in loving ...

that is my imagination about that great words..
