They don't know whether Gods existed or not. So they chose to ignore and disbelief it, besides secularizing things.

Agnosticism is not about belief; it's a philosophical statement that definite knowledge about the existence or non-existence of a god or gods is impossible. An agnostic is not a 'fence-sitter' and it's possible for an agnostic to say 'I don't know but I tend to believe' or 'I don't know but I tend to disbelieve'.

So it's not mutually exclusive with either theism or atheism. It can complement them.

As far as I know an AGNOSTIC is one who doesn't know anything about God.

An agnostic proclaims that even if there is a God how do we know? We are ordinary mortals who are engaged in mundane things and the concept of God doesn't bother us at all.

Thus, even if a God exists man would never come to know of God's existence because he's too preoccupied with mundane things. Got it??!!

An agnostic is a chicken-shi'ite atheist. Can't seem to get his butt off the fence. Still better than being a delusional superstitionist religionist.

Agnostics are uncertain of the existence of God, they neither confirm nor deny him

Agnostic means unknowning or something like that

if you answer the question "does God exist?" by saying "I don't know" then you are probably agnostic

Agnostics don't believe in any particular faith because they believe there is not enough info for them to come to a conclusive answer.

I am generalizing, but....it's in the ball park

Agnostics are people who don't specifically believe there is or isn't a God. They don't care one way or another.

Atheists on the other hand believe that there specifically isn't a God.

Someone in the fence. Doesn't believe and doesn't disbelieve there is a god. Pretty common step into becoming atheist.
