Something similar had just recently happened to me after 2 and a half years. We broke up cuz she couldn't be real with me,it was all lies, and 2 weeks later she met this dude at the club, and then went to Vegas a week later and married him. He lives in CA, and was here on military leave, but when he went back to CA from Vegas, she came back here. Now she cant afford to get to CA to be with her new husband, he wont send her a plane ticket, now all of the sudden shes telling my voice mail how much she loves me. HA! You got a HUSBAND now B!! To make a long story short, don't worry about her(your just feeding the fire), make her feel unwanted, DON'T eat out of HER HAND!! MAN up, its all about YOU now, and it should be from NOW on. DON'T let her ruin you, or especially mess up you education! Use this as a learning experience, make her realize what she GAVE UP. Trust me! Check out my blast to see what helps me laugh at my X-girlfriend. If you give in to her you have LOST, and she has you right where she wants you!!
DON'T get upset, get even!! SUCCESS IS THE GREATEST REVENGE!!!

You are 17 and have been in relationship with your friend for three years. Now you have college in front of you and this is distracting you.
You don't understand why she is not talking with you. I am guessing that you are confused, hurt and lonely.
First, you might write to her and tell her how you feel and how her actions are affecting you. You might ask her what she thinks the issues are.
In reality, you are both young and life will change in so many ways for you both. College is your future. Deal with this present issue and try to move on.

having been there and done that....it is going to take a long time. look, you're 17 & trust me when I say you'll look back on this and laugh about how young and stupid you were. go to college, make friends, and have fun (even if you have to pretend for awhile). it is going to take a long time, just be good to yourself, acknowledge your feelings, and avoid her like the plague (this is in your best interest). it sucks, it hurts, you want her back, you can't sleep.....most of us have all been there and survived - so can you. good luck with school!

Have you tried ASKING her WHY she wasn't interested in you anymore. I mean, have you noticed any change in her behaviour over the past three years you were together? You should ALWAYS try to find out the REASON for a breakup. Then maybe you will get over it.

Think very hard about what you were doing before you met her? What is it that you really enjoy doing? Then go do that!
