Once a tail breaks, it often has to be removed. Of course it hurts, just because he can't tell you doesn't mean it doesn't.

it would depend on where the tail was broken it can be serious if there is no feeling in it as it could get trapped in a door or anything and become infected which would normally mean amputation if it is treated early enough or left untreated could be much more serious
YOU MUST TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET IF YOU DONT IT IS CALLED NEGLECT AND WHAT HAS THE POOR DOG DONE TO DESERVE THAT WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR CHILD BROKE ITS FINGERS THINK AND TAKE IT TO THE VET

It depends on where the break is. One of my dogs broke his tail and didn't even know it was there. The vet checked it and left it alone because it didn't need to be removed. Have your vet check the tail to let you know - he may not need anything done to it.

It's pretty serious. Haven't you taken your dog to the vet or animal hospital? If you haven't, you should be arrested for animal cruelty, and you most certainly shouldn't own a dog.
Get your dog to the vet NOW!

V serious.
A part could have interrupted blood flow from the break which could turn gangrenous.
Take him 2 a Vets.
If U love UR dog, U'll get him checked-out, huh?
