Like I have said hundreds of times before...lol...The scriptures / bible/ testaments / koran actually began as 1 book of bed-time stories that some upstanding young father or mother wrote for his or her children.

This fairytale book became so popular, that other countries soon followed suit. Somewhere along the lines people took it upon themselves to re-write this story book to soothe their childrens nighttime fears. But of course, due to language and culture differences many of the stories were lost in translation.

The origin for both the religions is same and the mission of the preachers (Muhammad and Jesus) was also the same. Since both the preachers came in different eras so the differences were created. Christianity & islam are no doubt two different religions, yet they have many similarities and a few contradictions. People become Christians when the follow JESUS and Muslims when they follow Muhammad. Muhammad has been declared the final prophet of Allah. If we keep aside the contradictions; then a muslim is more christian than a christian himself.

As far as re-writing of the sacred scriptures is concerend; Allah has challanged and said to the humanity in the QURAN that "U cant even make a single verse like it".... Allah has said in another verse of Quran that " I have revealed this book (Quran) and I will be taking care of it".... This is due to this reason that the Quran is still in the same shape and scripture as it was revealed. The other holy books have been amended by humans according to their needs, thus making them less valid.

Hope that answers the question.

only the bible has been re-written

the bible came before the Quran . the 2 came down from the same religion one time ago but the bible took a diffrent turn because it was re-written and therfore it took a diffrent course. this was largely due to a group of the people of that time started to re-write it's scriptures out of it's context; The brunt of the changes that were made was that they firmly believed that Jesus was the Son of God and not just a prophet.

The way I see it there both good to follow, if You could.. But it's that Christianity is the closest of all the (Religions)to get you to Paradise , and the bringer of all his Fathers wisdom, for us all to follow. An being a christian, I fell fine saying this, Christ never said he was the sole door to the after life.... He was our living and breathing hero and just to teach an show us All how to be...
An the similarities I fell are because they have all followed a different roads/path to Jehovah (GOD) ... But we have all grown, an in that growth the rules had to be revised, or more strict maybe given a closed interruption of what we need to do in order to have a pleasant after life..... Case in being (LOVE THY NEIGHBOR) Do you Love your neighbor>????? I doubt you do but with 6 Billion people on the Earth, You really need to... (NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE) = no S.T.Ds (NO SEX OUTSIDE OF SAID MARRIAGE BED) = NO S.T.Ds ..... Knowing what we (people) know now, could you really say there's NO God??????
And Anything outside the word of Jehovah is wrong... An Due to P.of S like king Henry 8th changed the words, But the King James Bible I think is the one....So something made by man is going to be flaued and distortied.... And Lets all not to forget Satin, the real one telling people to blow themselves & all around them. Thats just sick, Jehovah/Allah would never be proud of that.

Initially, Jesus (Isa in Islam) was just like a prophet spreading the word of God. What changed was when the Christians declared Isa crucified while the Muslims denied. That is when a religion got split into two.

And the rest, is well, history.

The Koran was written 800 years later and is a mixture of Judaism, Christianity and mid eastern mysticism. There are even Genies (Gins) in the Koran and it was fashioned after the Bible.

The have similarities in their scripture because they are based for off on their mother revolution Judaism. The said thing about Islam is that it attempts to re-write what Christian's call the "Old Testament" to serve the agenda of a failed business man named Mohommad who came up with one of the greatest scams that has brought his home town and region in the middle of the desert litterally billions (if not trillians) in income.

The answer is very simple- a huge part of islam was actually taken from Christianity. Islam was "invented" by Mohamed after Christianity, and as a religion made up only by a human, it is normal to consist of part of Christianity, part of Judaism,....
And about your other question- no, nobody can rewrite them.

Islam is the only true religion of God.

Abraham was not christian, Moses was not christian, Jesus was not christian. They were muslims...
Word given to Jesus ( modern Bible) was misinterpreted by the people thats why Quran was sent by God to correct mistake of followers of Jesus..
Quran confirmes whatever had been sent before ( to Moses and Jesus) and corrects misinterpretation created by people in their following by Word of God

Because both Jesus and Muhammed were fundamentally grounded in Judaism. They both trace their roots to Abraham, they are simply different prophets from within that tradition.

Or, putting it differently, they were both Jewish.

Differently still, there is only one God, there are many paths to that God, all are equally valid, but all lead to the same place.
