telephone poles, tiles too, chips and marks on walls and I am sure I do this with other things too at times. I don't know why I do it and sometimes get headaches from it.
Just thought of one more that is really weird..
I count sidewalk cracks and must of gotten this from when I was a kid but Idon't step on the cracks, no I am not joking. My husband will tell you the same. Soooo weird, I think.

When I put something in the microwave, the time has to end in an odd number, even if I just add one second (this is one that's bugging me right now, because I suddenly have a microwave that has a 1-minute increment dial). My books and movies have to be on a certain order in their shelves. I take notes very meticulously for my books and use little post-it flags noted with which characters are in each paragraph. My speakers have to be set at certain angles in relation to my deskpad. My textbooks have to be in a certain order in my bag.
But then, a little OCD usually comes with Asperger's, so my quirks don't really bother me. I'd rather deal with my weirdnesses and have my brain. :)

Do you also count floor-tiles or ceiling tiles? It sounds like you have a mild case of OCD. I'm not kidding, and I know becasue I have it too.
Talk to a psychatrist or psychologist about it. They're more like Dr. Phil than "One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest."

the labels on food in my cupboard are all readable when you open the door. I have to make my bed every morning. The shower curtian must be closed. That's about all I do that may be a quirk.
