the best of the muslim is he who beleives that -- THERE IS NO GOD BUT ONE GOD AND THAT MUHAMMED-PBUH IS HIS MESSENGER.
let he who worshipped muhammed-pbuh know that he was a messenger and that messengers have died before him, but he who worships Allah know that Allah is ALL-ETERNAL AND NEVER DIES.
the best of all muslims is he who follows the true meaning of Imaan-Al-Mufassal. the rest who choose to beleive in words of men rather than words of God are not muslims.
remember the hadith at the time of muhammed's - pbuh death, when the followers asked -- who will go to Heaven? the prophet said -- the jews will split in 70 sects, but only one will make it to Heaven. the christians will split in 71 sects, only one will go to Heaven while the rest in Hell. Myummah will be divided in 73 sects, one will make it to Heaven the rest will lie in Hell.
when the followers asked -- who will go to Heaven of all the saved? prophet replied -- the one who belives - there is no God but ONE GOD ALLAH

Salams.
All is right, that is why they're aceepted by Allah ta'ala. It's best that you follow as you are taught because not everything is the same as one mahzab to another..
For example,
Shafi'i says no to dogs while Hanbali (I think) says yes.
As far as I know, if you wanna change to another mahzab, your knowledge and understanding of Islam's laws must be superbly good so as for you not to create a sin or cause chaos among Muslims.
Hope my answer helped c",)

you shouldn't follow either one blindly. Those are all opinions on matters formulated based on different evidences. Technically, you as a muslim are required to take all the evidence available and deduce your decision based on that.
That said no one is right or wrong. People can follow different paths and both be right in islam. Several hadith alluding to that. Which is ijtihad.
Personally i tend to follow shafi. The imams themselves had respect for each other, and didn't consider others right or wrong.

those are just explanation of Islamic laws. say i need a fatwa on something i may look at all of them shafi hanafi or hanbali ...and whatever is the most closer to the Law of Quran and Hadith I may take it. regarding which path is it.
it's strong if they show Quran or strong Hadith to support their argument, otherwise i will not look at it.

Dear Muslim,
The Gospel of Jesus is Good News. That is what "gospel" means in Greek. It is the good news because Jesus has removed the requirements of keeping the Law in order to obtain salvation and that through Jesus, we can obtain eternal life. Jesus made it possible for people to receive the free and complete gift of salvation by faith.
Our father Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness (Gen. 15:6). It was his faith in God that made Abraham righteous before God, not keeping the law, not keeping the commandments.
The Law of God is perfect because God is perfect. The Law is a reflection of the character of God. It is wrong to lie because lying is against God's character. It is wrong to steal because stealing is against God's character. That is why the Law tells us what is wrong. God is not arbitrary and neither is His Law. Though the Law is good and perfect, no man can keep it perfectly. No person can keep the Law.
Jesus taught us that to even look on a woman with lust in your heart is to commit adultery with her (Matt. 5:27-28). You see, the Law of God is not simply to govern actions. It is for our hearts and attitudes. Purity of heart is what God wants from us. Purity of heart down to the deepest part of our being. Why? Because God's heart is the Purest and Most Holy of all. And since the Law was spoken by Him and came from Him, the Law is Perfect and Holy. That is the level of perfection you must have when trying to keep the Law.
However, we are not able to keep the Law. We sin. We fail. The Law says do not lie, but shows us where we lie -- in our very hearts. It says do not commit adultery, but shows us where we commit adultery -- in our hearts. The Law of God is perfect. We are not. God is perfect and Holy. We are not. We are not able to keep the Law of God because we are finite, limited, and affected by sin. How can anyone ever hope to please God through keeping the Law? How can anyone ever hope to please God and attain heaven by doing good deeds? It is not ourselves that we must please, but a Holy and Pure God.
