Why is it rarely see INTERACIAL mixing&dating in the US....U go to Brazil and Cuba..and it is awfuly normal?

Where are you clubbin'? At the KKK hoedown? Here in Hawai'i I see it all the time - - - but then Hawai'i has always been a true mix of people - - - still the biggest dating service in America is The Military and there is a lot of interracial dating between soldiers/sailors/etc and the civilians who go for them. There is a difference between "interracial dating" and "intercultural dating". There would be a greater chance of intercultural dating in the states as there are more immigrants than say, Brazil or Cuba. So its not really the race but the culture that is the stumbling point. One might be put off when confronted with a different way of doing things or divergent view points. Making the relationship "complicated". This is no problem in Cuba or Brazil, where there is cultural uniformity.

In the U.S. Slaves were treated like dirt, African Americans were disliked and hated, Most Americans were brought up to stay away blacks, stay in their race. Americans are a very close minded group when it comes to races and one key word RESPECT Cuba had slaves but were there to work, Spaniards did not like Indians and either killed them off and others died of deseases then brought slaves.. Cubans were eventually brought up to mix. It is ok to have black friends, but there is still many social, cultural, ethnic and financial divisions.
You see so many blacks and whites in Cuba now because the 90 percent of the whites left Cuba to other countries.
There is still division, its just not as prevelant.
Brazil you jave the same as Cuba, but watch a little tv there and read print ads and you will see all white.
There is a social economic division, the whiter the skin the better the job the more private schools you will be accepted to. Its still there just well hid from the tourisits and outsiders. Walk a few miles in Rio to the poor section, Its a dump, its sad, and its a darker skin color. The less money or poor you are,the darker th skin, but they all interrmingle socialize, there are no true racial issues. Once again you respect people of all colors , most whites marry whites, if you date outside the race who cares. just dont marry outside the race. our there will be talk and whispers. . All the same buddy. just look past the wall of racial deceipt. I am Cuban, I know the game, I been to Brazil. Its not as ( pardon the phrase) BLACK & WHITE as you see it.
Have a closer look. Ask a white Cuban what he would say if his daughter married a white man or ask a father the same if his blabk daughter married a white, same answer on both sides of the race in USA, CUBA, and BRAZIL then you will see real . My Grand mother on my fathers side tiook in blabk kids in Cuba, brought them up as their own kids. One of them came to the USA with us. Another member of my family would make him coffee daily, but he would come around the back door ,eave by the front.. He had his own glass, and she cleaned where he sat when he left. She was Cuban. To his face real nice and respectful,m but evryone knows the place in the societal structure. Unlike here in the US ,some whites do not respect other races to tjerir face. This woman would make him coffee give him a drink on a hot day, respected him as a person. So what itf he was black. She treated him as a human, when he left she wahsed the mans dishes and stored them in their place. Not ever saying a word about his skin color not saying a vicious thing. She treated him like a human. because he was/ That is a difference. Most cubans treat races all alike. You just dont marry. I hope this makes sense to you. It did to me. Everyone is equal, but, some you marry some you dont. Treat everyone with respect, some you date some you have affairs with.. The Issue is USA needs to respect all races. Cubans white and black have all types of racial col;ored friends, no one cares. we know what lines to cross what not to, it sounds racist but its not. We all respect easch other we call each ***** as a term of endearment . But youi wont find NI**ER in my vocabulary nor others. Just in the US. Cubans call each other Chino, *****, and all the slangs to define races, just in this country it is offensive. USA makes skin color too big a deal. Labels are the Issue, Americans label races, Latino or Hispanics. Call me that and I say " show me a latinoland! there is no such race or people. The term Latino and Hispanics were invented by the Nixon Administration to lump all ethnic Spanish speaking races in a lump for census records. Its sad that people stuck on a label and defined themselves as another different race instead of as part of humanity. That has happened only in this country. My family has never used a label to identify us. Why should we?
We are not less nor better than our fellow neighbors we are just human and would help any fellow human out no matter the race, color of skin, or language spoken...see we dont carry a label. That is the difference between Cubans. US, Brazil. " At the end of the chess game the King and pawn all go back in the same box".

It's quite commom white-mixed and mixed-black marriages but white-black is not so common. But you have to note that whites and black in Brazil belong to different social classes, so they whites don't know many black people (except their domestic employees)
