It is true that most of the islam principles are actually taken from Christianity. However, when Mohamed copied them, he couldn't really understand them so he interpreted them as he understood them- without thinking of the real, deep meaning of the principles of Christianity.
However my own view is that islam can't be considered as a Christian heresy, because it is a diferent religion.

hmmm.... Christianity has the WHOLE old testament in there word for word and appends its own new testament to it thats ok.
But quran writes everything in it own words poetic verses and its heresy. .....lol... you guys are funny.

The prophet of islam, muhammed, jesus, moses and all who preceded them are a line of prophets. if there is nothing in islam addressing christianity and judaism then that would be disturbing.

All i am saying is if Islam is heretical because it continues from christianity then christianity is heretical for deviating from judaism

In a way, I guess. I know what you're getting at, like Protestantism is heresy to Catholics kinda- but I dunno once it splits off I guess it's its own thing. I don't think heresy or mixed up is the right way to look at it...I look at it as chapter 3 (or 4)

Jews, Christians and Muslims are all People of the Book. so think twice before saying anything - becoz if u are speaking against Allah, Islam and Quran, then u are also going against Jesus-pbuh and his bible.
