Boy like boy stuff and Girls like girl things. My girl likes to hang out with boys when they come over to play with my son, but that lasts for about 5 mins when the boys start up with the game boy and fight around. My boy doesn't like makeup and finds all girl stuff boring. They aren't sexist they are just kids being kids. Boys and Girls are also affected by parents too. How many guys like to see their boys playing with barbies? Alot of these kids are told not to play with girl things or boy things, It is from the parents alot of it, what we say and what we do kids also mimic

Kids only know what they see. If you have met a child who is sexist, look to the adults that they watch as role models. Someone in their immediate family or a close member is showing or telling them that this is the way to act.

Kids, like many grownups, categorize the world in order to seek understanding. I remember telling my son I was taking him to a particular doctor. When he saw the man, he said - "He can't be a doctor, mommy, he's not a woman."
I'd never told my son only women were doctors (obviously) but all his docs had been to that point, so he assumed.
Also, little ones really prefer mommy - her milk and her arms.

They probably do not know why the other sex behaves that way, look that way, talk in a way different from them. So naturally, they would want to stick with their kind, and inadvertently appear to be sexist, as they sort of repel the opposite gender.

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you give an example?
People probably aren't taking you seriously b/c so many people ask questions just to try to be funny.
If you add some details, maybe people could be more specific and answer you for real.

I think it might be a biological thing, they are repelled by the opposite sex until they reach sexual maturity. Presumably this behaviour stops them from having relationships before they are ready.
