I do not like labels or generalizations so it has been hard for me to accept that I have Panic Disorder. I'm afraid all of the time now. I've become so depressed from being unemployed that it is a real struggle to leave my house now at all. I fear too that those who read this will automatically judge me and criticize me. I really have nowhere to turn anymore. I'm homeless with places to stay and food to eat for now. I don't know how not to be completely stressed all of the time over my situation. Can someone please tell me I'm not alone in all this? I hope that no one deserves to feel this alone.

Yes I relate. I was in a similar position 10 years ago. I also had Panic Disorder and had to carry a paper bag around for 6 months in case I hyperventilated.

What helped me most was building a way to cope with the stress. For me that meant relaxing more - taking up Yoga, getting more exercise.

If you are religious, I would say go to your church. I am not. I went to Africa for 6 months and came back a different person.

If nothing else works for you, you can come and live here with me (England). Good luck

Love is the answer.

Know the feeling so very well. I have panic disorder. I don't know how many times I was rushed to the hospital feeling like a possible heart attack. Therapy worked some, but did find a combination of medication that worked, but it took a long time to find the right kind combination., Now and then I'll have a very slight attack usually triggered if I exercise. One time I was backpacking in Canada and had a major attack. I didn't think I would ever make it back down. That was before I found the proper medication. I have read books on the subject, seen I don't know how many doctors that even understood what I was talking about, a lot of stress tests, etc, etc. I am sure you know the routine. I wish I could give you some concrete advice. Have you tried seeing a doctor/shrink that understands the nature of panic attacks.? A lot of doctors I went to just sort of laughed it off. Sorry I can't tell you what I use over the Internet. I have depression also which really helped a lot (LOL). Has drastically changed my life and not for the best either. I didn't start getting them until I was 30, going thru a lot of stress at the time. The doctor that helped me the most couldn't believe how I was so successful in my life without medication or something. Good luck-there has to be help out there somewhere for you. I hope you find it. I really feel for you.

I am so sorry you are feeling that way. My daughter was the same way and has forced herself to get out. She had no friends and made lots of friends in her area where she lives on myspace.com. She lives with her grandmother so she is not homeless, but just got her first job about a month ago, only a weekend job but that is a start. The bad thing is that when she first started going out she was drinking to be able to socialize and talk to people.

She always wanted to stay home and never do anything either and left school and ended up finishing a year later. She ended up on home studies. As far as medication they do no good and in the long run, they mess you up. She stopped drinking soda and had no caffeine at all. She also stopped eating fast food. The preservatives in alot of food can trigger mood disorders in some people just like allergies but instead it is mentally.

I wish no one would ever feel that way, it's horrible. But a lot of people do, your not alone! You may want to look into buying a internal cleansing system at your local healthfood store. You may have toxins in your body accumulated for years and that could be making you feel that way.

We all wash the outside of our bodies and seem to forget the inside. Here is a good website to check out, a bit gross but it is worth looking into. http://www.drnatura.com

Best wishes and hopefully thngs will change for the better for you. : )

Hey! Thats me. I think I have social disorder and severe depression. Sometimes I'd like to think that I'm not, but I just keep finding myself falling in a black empty hole that I can't get out of. It sux, my life sux. So I just collect unemployment for now, until I move to Florida and begin art school. I'm dreading it, like everything else in my life.

Anyway, I'm sure you don't deserve to feel that way. I know I don't. Bad things just happen to good people. Sorry, but I'm sure baby jesus still loves you.

Can I ask? If you're homeless, then how're you on yahoo answers? Whose computer are you using?
