I think October is a popular fall month to get married in, but I'm not sure about a winter month. I got married last February 12th and it was a day after a huge snowstorm covered the Northeast. My sister got married last October and it rained the whole day and the seven days before her wedding. So I have lots of personal experience with fall/winter weddings and the inclement weather they can be associated with. My advice would be, if you'd like to have a wedding in the fall or winter, is not to schedule it so close to Christmas, New Years or Thanksgiving because your guests might have to spend the holiday somewhere else. And hope and pray that there's no huge storm on your big day!

Most people avoid November because of the holidays and then, turn around and use December because of the holidays.
October here in South Georgia seems to be the most popular Fall/Winter wedding month.
Of course, I'm getting married in December.

Twenty-two percent of ALL marriages take place in June & August.
October is next with September about to join the June & August ranks. January & March are the least popular months.
Saturday nights are still the #1 time to get married but Friday night weddings are on the rise. So are Saturday daytime weddings. And there is an increase on Thursday night weddings for some reason.

I don't know what the most popular Fall/Winter month is to marry, but imagine getting married at Christmas and arriving at the wedding ceremony in a sleigh pulled by Rudolph - wonderful thought.

December!!! I have seen many beautiful christmas weddings. The bridesmaids can wear red and black and they are actually beautiful togeather. Plus the church is already decorated, but if u have children it can be expensive because of Christmas and all. Another good one is Febuary, valentines day.. Good Luck !!!
