I don't know where you are, but I doubt that many people in the west know what a Durian is. I have had them many times in Thailand and love them. As for the Queen of Fruits, the best I can think of would be the Olive!!!!!

well obviously the cherry. I've lived 60 years and never popped one yet. I hear they are a rare and exciting delicasy, others say they are not all their cracked up to be. Well some say the durian stinks. Guess I'll never know

Doesn't the durian stink? So how can it be generally popular.
Mangosteens are great if you can get in.
Nectarines are v nice and easy to eat.
