Yes, it's better to have felt the spark of love even though you lost it. Otherwise, would you like being a 60 yrs old woman sitting on a chair on the porch of your house and thinking "I wonder how is love feeling? I heard many people talking about it, but I've never felt it myself". It will be sad, cause you'd realize your life was without meaning, since you missed what's most important in a humain being's life: LOVE (to love and to be loved).

A relationship can be a beautiful thing, when there is equal participation. Once the balence is broken and the person on the lower end is putting more into making it work, frustration begins to build. So what you really want for a love is a best friend that comes with the benefits. Plus it's always nice when you just enjoy each others company. To not love at all would lead to a fruitless life.

It's the margarine of Butter.. not quite the same.... just alot less calories.................

Oh.. heck... who know's...... sometimes it's best not too put your balls into that trap and get them snapped off... so no....

why can't a person just love..... and let the Universe decide in the end...

I know what your after... is it a wasted life if you lived but didn't live, but if you did live and destroyed others along the way...was it really living the truth or a self dillushional reality?

Some times it just nice to get laid and not think about nothing other then being with that person.... to hell with the world, were having sex... or love... and let it catch up too you rather then chasing the time down for your wants..

and I'm spent...

Sure, not to know the touch of another would be a awful thing, to go to bed at night and have that feeling that when you fall asleep you'll dream of your loved one. Not to love at all is not an option.
At lease to have lost give you someone to think about on those cold lonely nights.

Definitely better. Things may not work out but the highs of being in love are unmatched by any kind of drug or worldly possession. It makes you feel alive and revitalized. When it goes bad you just need to learn from your mistakes and make better choices next time.

I think so. even if you've lost the love, you still have the memories. besides, you can still find it again! it's not like love is a one shot deal!

but much better than being incapable of it in the first place. I'd much rather be a sappy fool, than a cold hearted b@stard...
