No, it wasn't intended to be... but I can see by some of the replies you received (admittedly out of your control) how it could hurt someone close to you... but I'm sure that wasn't your intention.

I don't think it sounded like you were aiming to get a date... only asking that IF these two options were presented as date options, which would you personally prefer.

Like a polls and survey question.

But maybe that's just me. Seemed like you had a few takers - lol

It sounded to me that you were trying to decide where to take someone (already previously selected) on a date and wanted to know what approach to take and you were going with the odds on the high end or casual date based on the preferences of some bored internet nutballs :)

Shame I didn't see the question. The answer depends on where you would be more comfortable... who the date is and what your current relationship is. Both scenarios sound very enjoyable, depending on the girl/current level of relationship. It's a personal choice thing and I doubt you'll find the answer here.

Although apparently you could find a few dates here - lol

Wang Kee, in Chinatown. Your lover will know what a good person you are, after seeing how the waiters there treated some of their unfortunate customers. (It's only kidding. They did have a bad reputation for their service some fifteen, twenty years ago but the younger generation of waiters are much more polite and courteous. It's worth eating there because it really is much cheaper than other restaurants in Chinatown.)

It depends how much you want to spend: £150 a head or £25?
At the top end La Gavroche is great. At the cheaper end try the Kastoori in SW17.

I think near the World Trade Centre overlooking the river Thames. Your question looks perfectly formed to me.

maybe. you might be new to the area, and don't know the best local joint's. find a g/f who know's the area well. if your looking for place to eat/drink? most of the major restaurant chains are placed around london. if you don't know many people then ask someone of the street.
