I'm not yet graduating from high school but i know other people who are. What are some good ideas for both males and females, but affordable; since I am still in high school myself?

Write down a list of all their virtues, and make the list into a really nice poster. I have received one big piece of card paper like that and I am so touched. Doesn't cost a lot too!
And the best treat to someone leaving home would be a phone call or a card (in the exam seasons), by the way.

Get a hardback reproduction of Dr. Seuss's "Oh, The places you will bypass" and write a magnificent inscription interior the front conceal. the perfect commencement present. Edit: rattling, Felix beat me to it

A really good fountain pen, or other pen if fountain pen is considered too old fashioned.
Or if the person has a particular interest a magazine subscription can be good.
