Aloe Vera will be of no help.

Prevention And Treatment Of Dandruff

Shampoo:
Keep a clean scalp. Use shampoo regularly. Let shampoo remain on the scalp for five minutes before you rinse thoroughly. You can choose from many OTC shampoos that are available in the market for dandruff. These shampoos may contain active compounds such as selenium sulfide, ketoconazole, tar, zinc pyrithione, etc. Experts believe that alternating shampoos after every wash may be more effective. You have to use some of these shampoos carefully. Always read the instructions with attention.

Avoid Stress:
Avoiding stress may help you fight dandruff.

Avoid Chemical Treatments:
Avoid chemical treatment of hair. Avoid using hair care products that are chemically based such as sprays, pomades, etc.

Diet:
Eat a healthy and well balanced diet.

Sun:
It is observed that instances of dandruff reduce in summer. That provides a thought that sunlight may be good for treating dandruff. But you have to carefully protect your body with sunscreen before you walk out.

You can directly use Aloe Vera gel to remove excess dandruff. Apply the gel on your scalp 10-15 minutes before you plan to wash your hair. Regular use of the gel before shampooing will keep down the growth of dandruff.

Thise remedy takes time, but it works. Good luck!

Dandruff is usually caused by an otherwise harmless fungus. This fungus, in turn, is helped by dryin out the scalp with too frequent washing using ordinary shampoo. I'd recommend using a baby shampoo and rinsing the hair and scalp after washing with an infusion of thyme and rosemary (just the ordinary spices you buy in the supermarket will do), 1heaped teaspoon each to a mug of boiling water, use lukewarm. Worked for me. Good luck!

I've never heard of that working. The best thing for dandruff is using a shampoo that contains ketoconazole, which kills the yeasts that cause dandruff. Nizoral is the most common shampoo brand that contains this medicine.

you can.
but let me tell you one easy and affordable way to you.

soak fenugreek seeds 3 tablespoon full in water.
allow it to soak overnight.
in the morning remove excess water and grind to paste.
you ll get a sticky paste.
mix the paste with curd (for better results) and apply it on your scalp. you can take shampoo bath after 30 to 45 min.

this really works, and i have experienced it.
