I'll try to make this quick.
I've always been attracted to my neighbor, I used to always borrow his keys for the storage and sometimes we would say hi here and there. He's helped me out in different ways such as helping me get rid of a christmas tree etc.
Though just when I was getting to know him he has to move back with his family for a while.
So I gave him my email to keep in touch and sure enough a couple of weeks later I get an email!
We started getting to know each other more and we have a lot in common till he asked my age. When I sent a reply saying I was 16, all of a sudden the emails stopped. The last email was a month ago..
I know he is not a day older then twenty one and I dont see why he would stop talking to me since I am only a few years younger then him. I sent him another email two weeks ago and no luck.
I know he only checks his email once a week or so.
Though what happened? I really enjoyed getting to know him and he was always very friendly towards me.

I totally understand how you'd feel right now. Guess what. I'm 16 too and I once fell for a guy in mid-twenties. When he got to know my age, I went frank and told him about my feelings. He understood me and we agreed upon making out together again 2 years later, when I'm 18 and old enough to have relationships. Give it a shot, baby! I'm sure he'll be happy to know your feelings.

Ah, young one! I know what you feel is real! Listen though, there is much more to life than you can see now. Some things take retrospect, something you can't have as a youth. Like Willy Nelson sung. “ It's not that I am smarter, just has my back to the wall more”

Young lady,, honestly, move on!

In America one fears charges of statutory rape - - - he is probably scared to death - - - these are harsh times for young love - - - even if it is just friendship many people have such sick twisted minds, especially Evangelical Christians, that a man is justifiably terrified. Good Luck.
