Flea collars do not work anyway, and sometimes will kill ur beloved pet, especially hartz flea remedies. You can bathe ur poms in dawn dish soap and for some reason the dawn will kill fleas and not harm your dogs, or go get frontline or advantage from ur vet. Biospot from a farm supply works also and only half the price.
go to walmart in the garden section and get some sevin dust spread on ur yard and leave it there it will kill the fleas, and is also safe around dogs. It only costs around 5.00. As far as your neighbors dogs, they are not doing anything wrong by staying in their own yard so u cannot do anything to them.

Spray your yard and Advantage really works. And there is this powder you can by at a pet store called Flea B Gone I think and you sprinkle it on your carpet I rubbed my with a broom to get down there and it dries the fleas out and it's safe for humans and pet. Just leave for about an hour after you sprinkle it so it settles because it can give you a dry throat, and it lasts up to a year. It's awesome. I live on bottom floor of an apartment and go fleas from all the animal around with out owning a pet and with in a couple of weeks no more fleas. It even kills the baby flea eggs and all. Look it up.

Putting regular dish soap in a hose end yard sprayer and treating your lawn will help keep fleas at bay..BUt if you want a more deadly product, then I would look for the Flea Granules for Yards and Gardens by Ortho...Keeping your yard dry and mown short will also help..Fleas dont like either too wet or too dry areas to live in. Another treatment that will kill lots of differnt buggy critters is Boric Acid Powder..It wont hurt your pets unless you feed it to them..
I hope this helps
Blessed Be~

Flea collars don't work anyway, fleas breed under them. Vets have great products. I would call the anikal control and humane society and have the dogs next door checked on, then they will have to take them to the vet. Keeping your dog clean and home is the best thing you can do besides getting products from the vet. Advantix. I may have misspelled.

Feed your dogs garlic cloves, and if you live near the beach, the salt water kills fleas. It's a very good way to keep them off your dogs. Plus treat your yard with an Ortho product, you can find it at the Home Depot.

Ring a pest control company, they have natural sprays for your yard, it may need reapplication regularly though. Also products like Frontline and Advantage are very good for your dogs individual protection.
