I used all major brands of anti-dandruff shampoos and nothing worked for me so far. I am a female and I have white skin and dark hair. I am loosing all my self-confidence because I have so much dandruff. Please, tell me what worked for you if you were in situation similar to mine. Thank you in advance.

You could be over washing your hair and drying your scalp of natural oils. Also on days that you aren't in a hurry or going anywhere allow your hair to air dry. Heat can damage the scalp too. Try washing your hair every other day instead of every day. If the over the counter shampoos are not working for you make a visit to the doctor for a prescription shampoo. Don't over use the over-the-counter dandruff shampoos. Use it once a week and on other days use a shampoo for normal hair.

I don't know I'm in the same boat myself. Please contact me when you find a good solution. Nothing seems to work. I went to the dermatologist and still no good luck finding something that works for my dry scalp.
