I, too, believe they are here to stay. It's sad that our government acts like there is simply nothing that can be done about this. That's why my children and I are learning Spanish. When I see a 5 year old translating for her parents at my son's school, all I can think about is "Dang, this child will grow up and get the bilingual in-demand job while my children will have to stick to english only jobs." Not if I can do anything about it. I don't agree with illegal immigrants but I'm not stupid either. I drove up to the drive-thru of restaurant a few weeks ago and heard nothing but spanish. I don't believe anything is going to change. If this country is going to turn into what is looking like a Spanish speaking nation, my children and I will be speaking it with them!!

Plain and simple. I don't want to. I have my own problems and while I have no problem with Latinos I am and always will be pro-black.
Illegals tend to complicate the matter when they come in. Plus I've experience the racism from the Latino community already and why would I want more. I am not saying all Latinos are racist but a lot of people come over with attitudes about American blacks and I am tired of fighting it with those native of this land much less with people who shouldn't be over here.
Next I have traveled all over the world and acquired jobs from all over. In the legal manner and let me tell you no country in the world is fine with you coming in illegally.
I don't need other people to clean my crap. I'll do it myself thank you. And if the only way to keep things cheap in American is through illegally hiring people than our system is broken and they are hindering us from fixing it.
What makes it worst is that they are accepting it. Allowing themselves to be used like that because it's better than what they can make at home. I want America to be great not some stupid slave state that uses people because they are cheap and disposable.

THe reason Im not down with ILLEGAL immigration is because of taxes. In LA the # of undocumented citizens is INSANE. The county or city only gets paid by the people who are legal.
