Are you nuts? How can anybody know that? Just the fact that you try to book in advance shows, that you don't know anything about Thailand. And one more, none is "nice" there in Thailand, they all want just one thing: Your money. And if your room is only 7 dollar a day, you may bet you'll share your room with a lot of "insects".
All you other questions also show that you obviously lack a huge amount of knowledge.
So before you plan going, you should learn some more, and not abuse people with so incredible stupid questions like this one.
Besides the link you have given does not describe a guesthouse for 200 Baht a day only ... neither one from a Swedish guy ...

Oh, Big John's rate you quote is not for a private room but a public room. Privates room is about US$11-12.
But if you meant another peanuts, my apologies.

Go by yourself, you will meet people on the way.
I stayed in places that cost less than 7 dollars a day and they were beautiful. No problems. Best of luck to you and have fun!
