Ok, I have known this one guy for about 6 years and we have dated off and on..well a little while ago things got pretty bad for us so we lost touch for a little while. We're talking again now and things are better, but we're just friends cause hes engaged now:( I KNOW I love him and hes the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with. But like I said, hes engaged now so my question is..how can I prove to him I love him as much as I do? how can I get him back with me?

Sorry I didnt add this in my question, he knows how I feel..but It didnt change anything really. I appreciate the suggestion though:) Any other suggestions would really be appreciated:)

Well actually it Might have change a little, cause when I told him that I still love him..he said part of him still loves me too. And he told me to let him see how things go with her for a while and if things dont work that we might still have a chance.

If he's engaged then what's the point of trying to get him back, obviously if he really wanted you he would have proposed to you. Just a few months ago I was engaged and my fiancee's ex-girlfriend decided that she just couldn't live without him, so he canceled our wedding, to get back with her but after a week he left her and came crawling back to me because he realized why they weren't together in the first place, but unfortunately for him I moved on and I realized that I deserved better. I think you do to, someone who wants you not someone that you have to trap.

It doesn't matter how much you prove too him you love him.. he has to love you back as much..
does he?
If he is engaged, that is pretty serious.. are you sure you want to pursue this, ? WHAT IF HE IS HAPPY?
do you want to Rock the boat?
The only way that you can get this guy back is if he wants
you..

I sympathise! It sounds like you Love someone that can't return the same feeling. "A part of him loves you" is nicely translated; I care about you but can't be with you b/c he don't feel the same way or ya'll had a good thing at one time but now it's time to move on so both of u can be happy. And honestly that should be respected in a way b/c he's trying to be conciderate of your feelings. You can't really be mad b/c at least he was honest with you about how he felt. It may hurt right now but he did the right thing b/c "you can't help who you love & you can't help who you don't love". He was just being honest & nice at the same time. Give him a little credit...alot of men have trouble in this area!!!

It's to late, you need to move on! You said he knows how you feel and it didn't change anything. Thus he don't feel towards you as you feel for him. So move on and don't look back!
