Be careful buying something generic if you have a doctor's diagnosis of CTS. You need a brace custom fit to your arm, wrist, and hand. If you have not received a diagnosis, get one before using a brace you buy from the drug store. The test is simple, interesting, and virtually painless. (I hate needles and I am a sissy when it come to pain.) I found the whole process very interesting. The diagnosis after proper testing leaves no doubt about having CTS.
The outpatient test takes about 30 minutes and involves no overnight preparations. The doctor uses very tiny needle-like probes and runs a small amount of electricity between two of the probes. The computer registers the level of response for each point. After several of these the doctor then has a definite answer of how bad the nerve damage is. Most health insurance companies pay for CTS braces as a durable medical equipment purchase. Medicare covers them as well.
Good luck!

I passed happiness going 100mph until it was so far back in the rear view that I forgot how to get back. The out-lands of bliss and oblivion were all that I could see. It cost an obscene amount of money and I ended up in one of Dante's hells with no money or freedom. I was still happy at times because it is in my nature. Money that buys "Shared happiness" for family and friends has a longer shelf life. As all happiness is temporary we are allowed to consume as much of it as we are able. I sure did. And I was unhappy that no money could solace. This would seem to be in the range of normal in the human condition. Nothing special about my experience. As money is artificial worth and happiness is a better currency wouldn't happiness buy money?

Go to your local pharmacy and ask them. If you are near a hospital or medical offices building, often times there are pharmacies in them that have all sorts of the types of things that you are looking for. Or, there are also hospital supply-type stores. Depending upon where you are... I would start by calling a pharmacy at any store and ask the pharmacist, or maybe a hospital or physical therapy place.
