What do you mean by "fair"?
Do you mean this:
Say, in this scenario, a girl leaves her b.f since she has just found out her true love? Then you mean it is fair since she had yet to realise her love?
I think that your statement 'all is fair' is correct. Eventually everyone would find his/her own true love.

No, nothing is fair in the name of love. Fairness or otherwise is a matter of convenience, used by either party to suit his/her need at that moment.
