No i don't think so

Because even in country having tamil as a state language rarely anyone in other states( which are 25 in numbers) bother to look at it

So forget about being global language

and talking about other countries , most of the mentioned cites have tamils migrated from India and like tamils many other lake panjabi,sindhi,gujju,Marathi etc.have migrated to almost all the nations

so why u want just tamil as global language

So why not, give the status as Global language

No. Tamil is too restricted in its distribution--just South India and Sri Lanka. All the other "global" languages have nearly as many speakers living outside the borders of the homeland as within the borders of the homeland and are the subject of many people who want to learn a second language.

Yes. The ancient poems, stories have best moral for the 21st generation. Take Thirukkural, Aga Naanooru, Puranaanooru are really suberb. Tamil Language always the best global language and have everything in it.

if you are true tamilian, u can best answer ur own question. secondly, u know tamil is widely spoken in many countries, some are determined by some answerers. tamil is the only language as we know from many others comprising poets, lyrics dating thousand years old. why not it be declared global?

Yes, definitely yes. Apart from the obvious countries like India and Sri Lanka, Tamil is widely spoken in Burma, Singapore and Malaysia to name a few.
