I used to get panic attacks. My doctor prescribed something for me but I wouldn't take it. I didn't want to take something that may be addictive. I heard that B-complex vitamins are supposed to help with stress and anxiety. Now I take a daily multi vitamin that already has 100% of the recommended B vitamin dose, and I also take one high potency B-complex vitamin. I use Wal-Mart's brand of multivitamin and Spring Valley natural B complex, also found at Wal-Mart. B vitamins are water soluble so what your body doesn't use it flushes out. I don't know if it actually helps or if it's a placebo effect and it's all in my mind, but either way it has worked for me. Best of luck!!!

There has been some good advice already. You need to identify the stresses in your life. Reduce stress and this will reduce your panic attacks. There are techniques to use during a attack. I find the best one is to breath into a paper bag. Slow your breathing and remind yourself it will end soon. I still get the occasional panic attack but know I have the skills needed to cope with them. You can too...

Find a good therapist and do cognitive therapy. If they're frequent and severe anti-anxiety med may help.
