u can format ur hard derive as
METHOD 1-first format all derive except c
then format c derive
METHOD 2- format by window cd .whenever u insert then it ask for formatting to which derive ,u select all & get result in some minute

I just easy man .........Pls go to dos (at the time iof booting )
by useing boot cd's ....Just type in a:>
format ?:
? Dive u need to format

ntfs or fat32, go with the ntfs
