Ok, So i'm the 20 year old female, I have this friend that is 38. I've known him for a while, and we went out a couple times with other people, but tonight we went on a "date". He took me out to dinner, it was really nice and he was a gentlemen. I like older men, because i've had bad expeiriences with younger men (i'm a single mom to a 10 month old lil girl) So anyways, whatcha think?

ya, the age doesn't bother me at all, I was just wondering what other people thought, oh and to that hater...you don't know me, don't judge me, I've gone on ONE date in the last 10 months so kiss my big white azz.

Whatever puts a smile on yours and your dates face. Since you are both over the age of 18, there isn't anything the law or parents can say or do to prevent that potential relationship. Some people men and women date someone considerably older because they desire someone who is stable, mature, attentive and experienced.

I think there is too big of a gap between 20 and 38...you are in two different places emotionally which can be a problem in the long run....he is almost 40 "middle age" and your life is just starting...I have been in the same situation so i know what i'm talking about...You could defy all the odds and be happy together but honestly i would follow your heart, only you can determine what is right for you.Good luck!

In my opinion, If you are happy with te person Then go for it, I think if it were like teens even being half that age difference, then there would be a major problem, but for adults, I think it's fine. :)

I thing for now it suits your need and you should go for it and enjoy!! But would be cautious about marriage....when your 40 and he's almost 60 there might be some issues.....

Just my thoughts for what its worth.

Good luck.

You are trying to compensate for a lack of father figure in your life. He just wants to get in your pants. You obviously are not a virgin. He knows you need someone. You should be focussing on your daughter and not on another guy. Thats what got you into this mess.

If you're happy together, and enjoy each other's company, then the age difference is no difference.
