Just curious if it is okay for a teen to grow facial hair.

Quite simply, that answer all depends on taste. In my opinion, a teenager can grow facial hair as long as he's doing it because it looks good on him and not because he's trying to show off that he can grow facial hair. Everyone's face has a different shape and some hair patterns work well for some people and some men should stay away from facial hair.

regardless of what the single answerer claimed, community American peoples are all descended from the comparable ancestors as North Asian human beings, who even have little or no physique and facial hair. this is purely characteristic of those specific lines of people. on account that Africans even have some distance much less facial and physique hair than the elementary eu, consistent with danger the greater functional question may be why are honest-skinned Eurasian human beings (from northern Europe to India) lots hairier than something of the folk of the worldwide? We palefaces are the oddballs, not them. consistent with danger we are greater primitive variations of humanity, nearer to our apelike ancestors. apparently, many Inuit and different natives of the North American polar areas, who have been a number of the final migrants to the hot worldwide from Asia, are in a position to advance beards and moustaches. they could be greater heavily on the subject remember of North Asians who migrated west into northern and eastern Europe 6,000 to 9,000 years in the past. via the way, your show call is honestly creepy.

I think young men with beards look great. But then gray beards are very cool, too. (Did you see Sean Connery in "The Hunt for Red October"? Real hormone-raiser, that one!)

I also believe it is important for a young man to grow his beard once he sees it will come in thick enough not to look silly in his own eyes. Men need this positive symbol of masculinity to understand that they don't need to "prove" they are men. A beard makes that simple and direct. It is especially important for those who choose to wear their hair long, to avoid being thought to be "trying to look like a girl." And you get the bonus of not having to smack someone around for whistling at you from behind. Just turn around and show your beard, and he knows he's been a fool.

Come to think of it, my comments on Sean Connery makes a point: most women find beards sexy, so long as they are neat and clean. Those that don't are usually the ones that aren't really interested in men being sexy, anyway. (Or perhaps my own biases are getting away with me here? I really hate stubble!)

Why not? Plenty of guys I was in high school with had beards/goatees.

My brother had a really gross 5-inch long zz top wannabe beard when he graduated. :) It was awful, but hey - if I was a guy, I'd probably have a full beard because I'd be too lazy to shave.

lol, teen boys. A lot of mothers don't like their babies to have a mustache or beard, though, because it means they're growing up.

not to be rude but...duh!! i dotn have a real bad prob with it (unlike other ppl in my class) this one guy who is a few months older than me has the really rough coarse black hairs that he has to shave real often....but shaving all the time makes the hairs blacker and grow faster(especially when cold?)

as long as your male that's fine. Otherwise, see a plastic surgeon and get that facial hair removed....permanently!

Yes, they can grow facial hair and, better still, pubic hair too.
