This is what my religion believes. This is the word-for-word excerpt from the scriptures of my religion.

In the beginning there was but one. He was called NikNak and He was good. But NikNak became lonely, so He created more. NikNak begat Earth, Sea, Fire, Sky, Beast, and Man.

And for a time Man lived in fear of Earth, Sea, Fire, Sky, Beast, and even Man. And so NikNak appeared to Man and introduced Bobbles. Various and wonderful Bobbles. Bobbles that kept Sea from falling on Man, Bobbles that kept Beast from killing Man, and Bobbles that moved Earth. And Man was happy.

Man went forth with His new Bobbles and slew Beast and did feast upon Beast flesh. Beast flesh, once sparce, became plentiful. And so Man became discontent. In reverence to NikNak, Man created His own Bobbles.

And Man's Bobbles were many. Some good, some wicked, and some an insult to NikNak's generosity. Soon a war broke out over whose Bobbles were greater. And for war, new Bobbles were created. Horrible Bobbles not meant for NikNak's world.

But NikNak knew of Man's Bobbles, for He is all knowing. And Those who used Man's Bobbles against NikNak's will were short in NikNak's world. Militants fell and peace was reestablished and NikNak smiled happily upon his creations.

Anything created was made by man. Everything else came into being with the Big Bang, abiogenesis, evolution, and natural physics in the universe.

Excellent question, and here's the simple truth, so you choose.

If we assume the universe was created, then it’s reasonable to assume there was a creator. That’s as far as science has progressed today, but just look how far religion has progressed.

Religion states (fact) there was a creator called God, that God still exists, God also created places called Heaven & Hell, God wrote an instruction book called the Bible, God will banish evil people to Hell, God will send good people who follow the Bible to heaven, that people referred to in the Bible (like Jesus) will return to Earth, and a whole raft of other statements of fact. That’s right, religious fact, not assumptions.

Now tell me truthfully, if science doesn’t even know yet whether the universe was created or not, but religious believers state: “not only was the universe created by God, here’s a whole lot more proof and facts to go with it, what do you think?

Either religious believers just have vivid imaginations or suffer from a common mental illness. I think commonsense and logic would suggest that religious believers are mentally handicapped.

The truthful answer to your question is that science doesn't know and neither does religion, but the major difference is that science admits that it doesn't know, but religion comes up with nothing but a whole lot of mad suggestions how or why things were created.

A vastly broad question, stay in school. Streched out: Big bang, settling of matter, gasses form planets denser materials become centers of planetary masses, under favorable conditions, amino acids form, life evolves, viola(spelling? french?)

In the Old Testament account of creation in Genesis, if you read it you will see that they knew the earth was a sphere, not flat as people believed as recently as the 1400s, God commanded Israel not to eat pork because Israel wasn't advanced enough yet to know about bacteria, see God is one step ahead of science isn't he, Nothing the bible states as fact is in conflict with factual science.
You can read the truth in the bible, science will catch up eventually.

The bible says that God made the visible from the invisible! He called it forth and the firmament gathered together and became solid and his spirit holds the whole thing together, and it is a spirit of life!

The answer is found in Genesis 1:

14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
