Talking about the Pope, then consider this. Even the Pope was scared that Stephen Hawking will prove that God doesn’t exist.
Hawking has done groundbreaking research on black holes and the origins of the universe. He proposes that space and time have no beginning and no end. On Thursday 15 June 2006, Stephen Hawking said that the late Pope John Paul II once told scientists they should not study the beginning of the universe because it was the work of God.
Hawking, who didn't say when the meeting was held, quoted the pope as saying, "It's OK to study the universe and where it began. But we should not enquire into the beginning itself because that was the moment of creation and the work of God." Hawking asked the Pope "Does it require a creator to decree how the universe began or is the initial state of the universe determined by a law of science?"
If the Pope genuinely believed that God created the universe, why was the Pope scared of science investigating the subject and proving that God existed. The truth is more likely that the Pope doesn’t believe in God and doesn’t want science to prove in fact that God doesn't exist.

Hawking did study the universe. I read his notes. But know what, Hawking then concluded that there are things that cannot explained by sciences that we leave the explain to a higher being which is basically God.
Now, there is nothing wrong with seeing angels. But you need to analyze if it really is an angel you see. the stat you gave us might be or might not be true. who cares??? for as along as you believe there is nothing wrong with that. that is your freedom! and i believe that angels do exist in this world. they help us battle evil everyday.
want samples? do you ever ask yourself, do i lie or not lie to my mom about last night? or questions like, should i study or just cheat the test? these questions might be simple but they are real and true. we do battles every second. choosing the good and the bad. so if there are people who can see these angels, COOL!!!

Funny that the pope can see angels but he can't see child molestors in his own church.
Everyone can see angels. They play baseball on TV all the time..

A woman opened the door of her house and was about to step outside when she heard a voice saying, "Don't take that next step or you'll regret it." She paused and a brick came crashing to the pavement right where she would have been standing. She looked around and there was no one nearby.
The next day this woman was about to step into the street when she heard this same voice say, "Don't take that next step or you'll regret it." As she paused a truck came racing by and smashed into a nearby vehicle. She knew if she hadn't listened to that voice she would have been hurt badly, or maybe even killed.
She looked behind her and there was no one nearby. "All right," she said, "Who are you ?" "I'm your guardian angel," the voice replied. "Oh, if that's the case," the woman said, "Where were you on my wedding day?"

no. esp. not the pope. that old man can't even see the horror within his own church, the pedophilia, idolotry, adultry greed , how could he see angels? It would take some much more likely to be chosen of God to be worthy of such an honor, someone innocent and pure , like an uncorrupted child..

That's a very strange statistic.
I believe in angels and in evil spirits, but most of the time I believe people are being mislead or confused by evil spirits, or even their imaginations.
I met more that have some wild imaginations.

Do a net search for the Zecharia Sitchin's visit to the Vatican and you will see that the religions of this planet change and twist the earth's beginning's and history to suit their agendas and that there are actually pretty logical explanations for most occurrences..
