Those words in Mark 16:17-18 were said to the 11 faithful apostles. The verses say not only could they drink any deadly thing but also they could expel demons, speak in tongues, and cure sick people.
There are a number of accounts in the Bible where we see that they did these things with the exception on no account recorded about drinking something deadly. The fact that it was not recorded doesn't mean that it was beyond their ability to do so.
We do have the accounts of them performing healings, speaking in tongues and expelling demons.
However, Paul mentions in 1 Cor. 12:28-30 that in his day not all in the congregation had the same gifts, not all could perform healings or speak in tongues or prophsey. In chapter 13 verses 8 & 13 he shows that these gifts were temporary and that they would pass away. After that, what would mark true followers of Christ would be faith, hope and love, with love being the greatest of the three.
This corresponds with Jesus' words at John 13:35 that by the love they had among themselves, people would know his followers.
So today we don't expect Jesus' followers to do the things mentioned in Mark 16:17-18.

Now this is exactly how Satan tried to tempt Jesus!
Read this:
5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:
‘ He shall give His angels charge over you,’
and,
‘ In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”[b]
7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’”[c]
I believe that God is entirely capable of keeping me unharmed by any poison I drink accidentily! I will not put God to the test however!

Mark 16? Doesn't say that.
Mark 17? There is no Mark 17.
1 through 8 Doesn't say that.
Obviously you don't know what you're talking about and/or you're a liar.

Look, there have been literally HUNDREDS of Bibles written. Look up the true meaning of the word bible. It is a collection of books compiled in one, typically sacred text.
The truth is, that the original bible, in it's purity and fullness, got into the hands of wicked men who believed they were in authority, and voted several passages out of the bible and even several books of the bible. Then others changed passages. Many things have been since changed in the bible. It's still the word of God because it's main point is to teach us to come nearer to God.

Jesus also told Satan, thou shalt not test the Lord.
If you challenge Him, you will probably lose the bet.

There is a lot of hate in this world, and a lot of people
use God and Religion as a means to hate and feel
justified in doing so.
