I would love to scream "FIREFOX!" like the rest of us, but that's just preference. Surely there are some people who like IE7 more than Firefox. IE7 has tabs, so now it is at least equal to Firefox in that regard. Although someone has mentioned that Firefox's tab interface is better. Again, this is up to the user.
All I have heard is that IE7 still does not follow web standards very well. Firefox does a fairly good job of following standards (and Opera a better job still). This means that some pages will not display properly in IE7. It also means that IE7 will offer some "features" that deviate from the standard, which might be nice but they cause problems with the other browsers.
Really I suggest you try out both and find out which works for you. But again, Firefox has never let me down.

i'd. *lol* in case you have been inquiring for version numbers i'd be nervous. yet yeah, that's certainly one of those deals: i do in comparison to disruptions to my familiar each and daily stuff. And gaining knowledge of an entire new browser and getting THAT take care of on my computing gadget would be a disruption. to no longer point out, my annoying disk drives (i think of I even have "2" however the different one would desire to correctly be a logical partition, i'm not sure) are small-ish. i do no longer likely have room to run 2 browsers at as quickly as, to any extent further than i'm able to run 2 finished anti-virus classes at as quickly as (firewalls, extra crap and all). issues get heavily bloated and then my computing gadget slows to a dying-flow slowly as my significant annoying disk plenty up. And properly, i've got heard Chrome gets heavily bloated, even worse than IE does in some techniques.

Firefox is faster because it isn't based off of the slow Active-X platform like IE is.

FIREFOX! There are so many features that make it better - tabs is my favorite...plus you can upload skins and other features (like current weather conditions), which I love.
